Little bit excited to hear that my pirate novel "On a Lee Shore" might be out in time for Christmas.

Not that pirates are particularly Christmassy.

But still :D

*snickers* tinselly pirates - I'm sure they would have loved that. Actually Barti Ddu always wore a magnificent gold crucifix encrusted with diamonds and emeralds that had been destined for the King of Spain until he half inched it, so bling all the way, baby!

remember getting a book about Barti Duw,Black Bart one Christmas - it was compulsive reading !

:) Barti is my hero. In fact I may have a little bit stolen one of his acts of robbery on the high seas. At least if people complain that it's unrealistic I can direct them to Captain Johnson and say that it really happened!

Ah but realistically speaking they'd be robbing one blind and leaving tarry smear all over ones counterpane rather than popping a button or two and purring "Well hello!"

I suspended historical integrity for some bits of the book but when i get involved I can't imagine much beyond the unlovely reality.

Still - book - exciting - teeny squee.
